We rented DiamondStone lodge for several families and it was perfect! Each family had their own private suite, but we still had all the "togetherness" of sharing a house. With 2 large living areas, we also had a good split between the kids who wanted to play video games and the adults who did not. Overall, the lodge was a perfect combination of "together" but also offering all the privacy you'd want. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. And the house is even nicer than the photos depict. The construction is a classic style so you can't tell how old it is from the photos. I was pleased to arrive and find - while a classic lodge style - the lodge is a fairly modern build, with stylish kitchen and open concept living. We normally stay in the Sunriver area, but will now only be staying at Gloria and Doug's lodge in LaPine. It was maybe an extra 5 minutes to Mt Bachelor and far more private and affordable. We highly recommend DiamondStone Lodge!

We visited some friends who were staying here. The house was beautiful and if we didn't live in the area already we would definitely stay here

+ Location and cleanliness were good, but it was too expensive for what was given. - No soap or shampoo for the shower. There was an envelope to tip the staff even though a $50 cleaning fee was added to the bill. At night there was no sound deadening from the other guests in the lodge. Their laughing and loud talking went on until 10:00.

Forest hideaway in a beautiful spot near to a lot of wonderful place to explore. Friendly staff, super clean, a hot tub and pet friendly! Oh, and great wifi. We hope to be back soon!
