Conditions for our Oregon Cabins
What to expect:
- Front desk is available 24/7 for any questions. Call or text 541-536-4584 (Doug.) A voicemail message phone number, to be answered within 24 hours, is 541-536-6263.
- Linens and towels, sufficient for the number of guests reserved, are provided.
- Kitchens are generously appointed with cooking supplies and utensils you’d have in your own home.
- All DiamondStone accommodations DO have wireless Internet access. Homestead network. Password Whitewine53.
- Housekeeping on departure is included.
- Check in time is 4:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am.
- Check Out Procedures:
- 1. Do not strip bedding. Pile dirty towels.
- 2. Wash any dirty dishes and run dishwasher if applicable.
- 3. Upon departure, turn off accessory heaters, lights and ceiling fans. Turn ON bathroom fans and leave bathroom doors open. (COVID safety)
- 4. If your group has moved furniture, tables/chairs, dishware, cookware, please replace it to where you found it before departure.

Tenant Agreement:
- Check in time is 4:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am.
- NO SMOKING in home. Outside receptacles provided. 420 friendly private property. Outside burning NOT permitted due to high forest fire danger.
- PET POLICY: Dogs only with prior arrangement for fee/dog/night. Keep dog OFF of beds and furniture and don’t let them run free or leave them alone in house. Clean up yard, put poops in outside trash can. Wipe feet as necessary.
- 10:00 pm quiet time; especially in outdoor hot tub.
- Regarding HOT TUB – professionally serviced, but use at your own risk. No children under age 10 allowed in hot tub. Please CLOSE LID when not in use.
- Tenant may be charged for damaged or missing property with the $100 security authorization processed upon arrival. Actual cost to repair damage can be charged.
- Solar-assisted hot water is not instant. Sometimes wait up to 4 minutes; then it is endless with propane backup. Home uses well water with a bit of iron in it. Safe to drink, but tastes better if you use the Brita filtered water pitcher in the refrigerator, or bring bottled water.
- There is plenty of off-street parking for 8-10 cars. Street-facing garage houses a rentable motorcycle collection. Spring/Summer/Fall, an occasional motorcycle may come and go. traffic is minimal and your privacy is respected.
- Lodge is NOT “Childproof.” Guests are responsible to KEEP CHILDREN OUT OF POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS areas.
- There is no charge for children so young that they don’t need a bed. Bring sufficient bedding and/or undergarments for these children.
- Man made pond onsite cycles water. It is only 3 feet deep. Not a pool. Usually frozen in winter. Do NOT throw landscaping rocks into the pond. $50 penalty charged (Tell your children.)
- Please RECYCLE, separating recyclable containers from trash. We’ll haul. Thank You.

Cancellation Policy
50% deposit reserves your dates, with balance due 30 days prior to arrival. If cancellation occurs more than 30 days before arrival, one night minimum is non-refundable. If cancellation occurs within 30 days of arrival, 50% is non-refundable; remaining balance paid creates a gift certificate for a future stay.
Lost & Found
DiamondStone is not responsible for your lost, damaged or stolen property. We are willing to return items you may have left, but you must contact us, and will be asked to pay a $10 or more handling fee for the time and trouble taken to return items left.
Security Damage Deposit
A $100 security “authorization” is run upon arrival. It authorizes, but does not charge, that amount, to cover damages if needed. Upon departure, when all is well, it is cleared. If damage exceeds $100, actual cost of repair or replacement can be charged.
Rental Policies
We reserve the right to substitute units when circumstances arise beyond our control.
KEY Policy – Most units use contactless KEYCODES. Some use a key. It is your responsibility to keep track of the key and leave it in the room upon departure. Failure to leave key may result in credit card charge. (Find it? Mail it back; thanks.)
