2018 Events, July 27, 28 & 29

Central Oregon's 6th NEWBERRY EVENT Music & Arts Festival to Defeat MS is a 3-Day outdoor awesome good time for a good cause. Hosted at DiamondStone Guest Lodge, come dance and enjoy many music genres - rock, blues, reggae, jazz, bluegrass,and more, performers from out of the area and great local bands. Saturday headliner is Lettuce! a renowned East Coast band touring out west for the first time. Nestled in the shady pines of So Deschutes County, this family friendly limited ticketed event feels like a private party.

Tent camping is free and RV sites are available. You won't want to leave, with many arts & food vendors, plus local breweries, distilleries and fine wine on site. Two rotating stages on the lawn, community comes together for fun and a heart to raise $10,000 to benefit the Oregon Chapter National Multiple Sclerosis Society. June 30 - July 4th

La Pine's "Frontier Days" - Oregon's newest city of La Pine, has had spectacular 4th of July celebrations for many years. La Pine's Frontier Days is now a full blown family-fun festival with parade, big fair with carnival rides, arts and crafts and food vendors, kids games and mini-train, and live music entertainment day and night. There's a locals' talent show, fun lawnmower races and Dutch Oven or chili cook-off or Western Style Pit BBQ. There are competitions for baked goods, preserves & home brew, as well as a Youth Fair and Art Show that brings talented artists from miles around to showcase their wares. And don't miss the tremendous professional fireworks display the night of the 4th, bringing folks from miles around to see. Small town charm, and a full menu of activities to enjoy.

Sunriver Music Festival - Join the Sunriver Music Festival for an abundance of concerts over two lively weeks in August! The 41st season features world-class musicians from all around the nation while also continually creating and nurturing music education programs for Central Oregon’s youth year-round. There's a Swings Fore Strings Golf Tournament, Festival Faire Dinner & Auction at the Great Hall, Classical Concerts, Piano Master Class, Guitar Workshop, Piano & Violin Recitals, Pops Concert, and Cello Recital.
